We at the Reloading Podcast have been using Buckeye steel targets for almost a year now and they just keep taking the abuse. Whether it’s from .22 lr all the way up to 6.5 Creedmoor and FClass .308 loads, the targets just work. Mike’s new favorite is the steel challenge target. It’s a great setup, and you can change the height simply by changing the 2×4 that you use for the upright. The whole target setup is reasonably light and easy to move around. This target is perfect for handgun as it has a natural tilt downward without making it difficult to see for aiming even through an optic. The paper targets are very vivid and easy to see. I am impressed with how well the rifle sight in target looks at distance.
